The final post of the tri

Its near the end of the tri and so I believe that I have grown in may ways in my blogs. In my first few blogs i had very small posts lacking much content. Now my blogs are usually 15-20 sentences. Sometimes longer. I also progressed as a  reader. From a book in two weeks to a book a week. This progression did not though include my vocabulary. It has sort of been the same. It seems like i have improved.

I have had some great discussions in my blogs about my readings. Some of my blog ideas actually came form some of the  comments I got. That was probably my strong suit. I struggled most of the trimester trying to be creative. In fact if one thing got worse, it was probably my creativity in the blogs. I had pictures in the first blog and from there my blogs were boring to look at.

Robin Hood

It is a cold day today, and the snow has made me particularly happy. I don't understand how people like summer; it's all hot, dry and sunny all the time. And so sitting in my room i picked up a book lost deep inside the book shelf. It was Robin Hood; a book i had read in 7th grade for fun. I remember 7th grade, a much simpler time where reading was for pleasure, not false enrichment forced on by a teacher. It was the last of my top 5 favorite books.
Now to get back on track, have you seen Disney's Robin Hood. If you have you have been misled. Disney reduced the violence which shaped the book. It also changed the history and back story of Robin and his Merry men. Robin himself was a young boy who had problems with his father. Due to this he left his home. On his way to the city, he killed a stag in the kings forest, which lead to his outlaw role. Also the gang is assembled through series of fights. All in all, King Johns attempts to catch Robin are all unsuccessful, although in the end, after marrying Marion, Robin is struck with a sword wound where he dies in the company of aid Marion, Little John, and the Friar.
